History book now available

by Mr. Barry Harbinson/Web Staff - Saturday, November 27, 2004

Things are a bit more crowded these days in Mr. Harbinson's office. He shares his space now with dozens of boxes containing books. But these aren't regular books, and they will not be around for long!

The much anticipated "A Tradition of Excellence" the history of Saint John High School 1805-2005 is now available through the school office,The New Brunswick Museum at Market Square and the UNBSJ Bookstore. Although the official launch is Dec. 4th during the School Bazaar, demand for the book has forced us to start selling early.

The initial reaction is extremely positive and the accolades for this coffee table book are surging in. A former teacher said she expected a nice book because she knew the authors and school would want a quality product but was absolutely blown away by the quality and magnitude of this text. Because this is a private publication, the number of books ordered was quite conservative and over 10% have already been preordered.

Order or reserve your copy by calling the school office (658-5358) or drop by to pick one up. The cost is only $40.00 per copy. It will be mailed in Canada for a shipping and packaging charge of $10.00 ($15.00 CDN to the U.S.). Please enter the school through the Canterbury Street door.
