Have You Found Your Passion?

by Jon Salmon - Sunday, September 28, 2008

On September 18th, 2008, hundreds of people, including many members of Saint John High School filed into Harbour Station to listen to Craig Kielburger, child rights activist. Kielburger, the founder of Free The Children shared his stories that he witnessed around the globe in his fight against child labour.

People laughed, and I think I saw some tears in the audience, but all in all the evening was a success in that it inspired people to life their lives in what Craig described as the "ME TO WE" philosophy. After the presentation was over, the crowd had the chance to meet Craig and talk to him about how they support or how they could support his foundation. Saint John was proud to have such an inspirational speaker grace the city with his presence.

It was an interesting and informative night that the students and teachers won't forget soon. Remember Saint John High: Be the Change!
