Tourism Class tours Mahogany Manor

by Mr. Peter Larsen - Saturday, February 14, 2009

Last Tuesday, students in Hospitality and Tourism were given the opportunity to tour the Mahogany Manor. The students were taught about the importance of good customer service and some of the pros and cons of working in the tourism trade.

According to Mr. Crooks, one of the co-owners of the Mahogany Manor, one of the best things about operating a B & B is that it allows him the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world. It also gives him an opportunity to work for himself, and work from his own home.

The class learned a lot about tourism and would like to thank Mr. Trickey and Mr. Crooks for giving us a tour of their beautiful home.
