Visual Art classes hold fashion show
by Ms Hartman - Saturday, May 9, 2009
On Wednesday April 28th, the Grade 10 Visual Art classes strutted their new design of fashions on the 4th floor. The students used plastic shopping bags, pop cans, cereal boxes, and even a tree planter to make innovative fashions.
Shopping bags were layered and ironed to give a thicker and more durable material for sewing. The models were other grade 10 students, some even recruited from other classes. The judges decided that the winning outfit was from Adrienne McNair, Taryn Fitzpatrick (also the model) and Miranda McCausland.
A big thanks to Ms Bolton and Ms Pinco-Hartman for judging this event. And a very big thanks you to Ms Underwood for taking all the photographs.
