Student performs well on Physics exam

by Mr. Doug Kelly - Thursday, June 4, 2009

Seth Holditch, a student here at SJHS, recently received a certificate of merit for his high standing in the recent CAP Secondary School Physics Prize Examination. This is an annual contest for high school Physics students held by the Canadian Association of Physicists(CAP).

The exam is based on the Core IB Physics curriculum and is written by approximately 2000 students each year in Canada. It is written in two parts and only those students who do particularly well in part one have their papers sent on to be graded nationally. Seth was one of seven students in New Brunswick to make the cut, and was one of only 80 students nationally to have his entire paper graded.

Congratulations Seth, on such a noteworthy achievement.
