by Tony Gogan, Head Coach of Greyhound's Baseball - Thursday, September 5, 2013

The Saint John High Greyhounds got their second win in as many nights during the first week of NBIAA baseball action. Tevin Winchester took the mound and completed six complete innings before the team gave up its only run of the night. Dillon Murdock came in for one inning of relief. The teams offense was led by Dylan Harwood, Alex Harper and Tristan DesRosiers who each had two hits. Harper also made a spectacular running catch in left field to buoy the defense in the fifth inning. Greyhound pitchers gave up 8 hits and only 1 walk during the contest. The team's next game will be Tuesday Sept 10 at Forest Hills against Harbour View High School.
