SJHS Remembers

by Stacey Wood - Sunday, November 10, 2013

On Friday November 8th the students and staff of SJHS gathered to remember the sacrifices that were made by Canadians, and members of our SJHS family. The Service of Remembrance was filled with meaningful music performed by the choir and readings that highlighted the sacrifices that were made by those who have gone before us. The mood during the assembly was one of respect and thoughtfulness. This mood was created and highlighted by the students of SJHS. A visual presentation contributed by Ms.Wood's Pre-IB Social Studies 10 class ended the assembly with a powerful message that stressed the importance of Remembrance and to honour those who died by living a "Life Worthwhile".

Always Remember. Never Forget.
