JV Girls End Great Soccer Season

by Madison Kieffer - Tuesday, November 11, 2014

The JV Girls soccer team played their final game on October 25th in Edmundston, which marked the culmination of a great season. The girls fought hard for the opportunity to play at Provincials and represented their school well. The team demonstrated sportsmanship and, more importantly, enthusiasm for the sport; these qualities defined our players throughout the season. The JV team is always made up of an interesting combination of both new and returning players. This year we had a variety of players, a few first timers, some great new talent, and several older players to help shape the team. Regardless of age or experience, the JV girls bonded on and off the field and improved both individually and as a team over the duration of the season. I would like to give a shout-out to the players who stepped-up to play keeper; we are all proud of the progress you've made! The success of this year's JV team would not have been possible without our fantastic coaches, Jennifer and David Peterson. On behalf of the team I would like to thank you for all the time you gave to make this season a fun and rewarding experience!
