Mary Poppins a HIT!!!

by Shawn Nichols - Monday, March 30, 2015

It is true; Mary Poppins has flown in, but unfortunately the winds have now changed. Mary Poppins flew into SJHS on March 26th, 27th and 28th at 7pm and we are so pleased that we could share a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious production of Disney's Mary Poppins. Each night, the auditorium was filled with such an exciting and participating audience which made the show just that much more special. There is no better feeling than the first time you walk onto the stage and look out into the audience, seeing such a large audience smiling and enjoying your entertainment.

It is very hard to believe that many months of hard work, dancing; singing has all come to an end. But, Mary Poppins will be a memory that every single cast member will never forget. We can say that this show "Mary Poppins" has a very special touch to it that many others haven't had compared to previous shows. We truly experienced the magic that Mary Poppins brings to Cherry Tree Lane. "Anything Can Happen If You Let It."

On behalf of the cast, we would like to extend a special thank you to a group of people that made the show such an amazing experience for the cast and audience. We send a very warming thank you to our Director, Monic Hutchinson, Music Director, Trish Gallagher, Stage Manager, Tracy Lutz and our Producer, Peter Larsen. We couldn't have put on such a spectacular production without their help and organization. Also, this year we had a special touch added to our show, as Walsh Luggage donated several umbrellas to decorate the auditorium and also donated an umbrella to be drawn by Mary Poppins herself each night. Thank you Walsh Luggage.
