Key Club Carnation Campaign for the Eliminate Project a Success!

by By Fletcher Ritcey - Sunday, May 24, 2015

A huge thank you to Hounds and staff for supporting our carnation campaign. With preorders, and sales at lunchtime, a total of 225 flowers were sold. This means that Key Club was able to donate $225 to the Kiwanis/United Way Eliminate Project. The federal government will match our donation, bringing our total to $450. This means that 250 mothers and their unborn children will be saved from potentially deadly tetanus infection. Key Club would also like to thank Wendy Maber at Galbraith's Florists who sold us the carnations at cost so that we could maximize our profits, and her staff, who wrapped every single flower!
