Volunteer Opportunities for SJHS students

by Mary Foley - Tuesday, November 24, 2015

There are some exciting opportunities for Saint John High School students to get involved in the community coming up this week! This Friday, November 27th, SJHS is working all of the Salvation Army Kettles in the city. We will be working in shifts of two hours at various locations around the city from 10am-8pm, and you can work with a partner. On November 28th, the Empty Stocking Fund will be taking place at the school. Volunteers are needed to do various jobs around the events. This runs in shifts from 11am- 4pm and 4pm- 9pm, and is always lots of fun for all students involved! On December 5th, volunteers are needed at our annual Holiday Bazaar. This event is a huge fundraiser for student activities and a great way for students to support their school. Sign up sheets for all of these wonderful opportunities are located outside of the SRC room on the first floor by the library. Please speak to Mary Foley for more information.
