Students Learn about CPR
by Dave Grandy - Monday, June 6, 2016
On Tuesday May 24th, the Heart and Stroke Foundation brought a great event to Saint John High School. Hands only CPR training was offered to students in grades 10 and 11 over a two day period. The Heart and Stroke Foundation partnered with Emera New Brunswick to help make this initiative possible. Close to 300 hundred students participated in this training and have gained valuable skills. Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in Canada, it can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. "What's more powerful than the ability to save someone else's life?"
