SJHS graduates receive UNB scholarships

The University of New Brunswick has granted entrance scholarships to recent graduates of Saint John High School for study in the 2005-06 academic year. The following recipients are attending classes at the UNBF or UNBSJ campus.

  • Jennifer Margaret Dever, Rothesay, Kinesiology, James Somerville Scholarship, $1,500; William and Lois Paine Founder's Scholarship, $1,500; Friends of the Varsity Reds, $500
  • Jennifer Lynn Hayward, Saint John, Engineering, James Somerville Scholarship $2,500; William and Lois Paine Founder's Scholarship, $1,500
  • Jared Holder, Quispamsis, Philosophy, Edwin Jacob Special University, $2,500
  • Emily Anne MacIntosh, Saint John, Science, Governor Thomas Carleton Scholarship, $1,000
  • Ellen Margaret McLaughlin, Saint John, Kinesiology, Governor Thomas Carleton Scholarship, $1,000
  • Megan McLaughlin, Saint John, Arts and Science, Ward Chipman Founder's Scholarship, $500
  • Margaret Theresa Pitts, Saint John, Science, James Somerville Scholarship, $2,500; William and Lois Paine Founder's Scholarship, $1,500
  • Ashley Elizabeth Sproul, Saint John, Engineering, UNB Scholarship, $2,500
