The SJHS Cheerleading Team under Coaches Leanne Charlton, Michelle Oliver and Jacie Kennedy is having a banner season! This talented team started practices in November in preparation for Spring competition season. In addition to cheering football season and the Memorial Game, the team recently participated in the first two competitions of the year, placing second at Simonds on April 1 (out of 7 teams) and scoring a big win at Ecole Mathieu Martin on April 8 (also out of 7 teams).

April 22nd at Saint John High will mark the 3rd of 5 competitions for this season. All 8 NBIAA registered competitive cheerleading teams will be in attendance (HTHS, MHS, Ecole Mathieu Martin, Oromocto, Simonds, Carleton North, Harbour View and of course SJHS). Admission is $5 per person OR $2 for students who are decked out in Red and Grey to support our team! Don your school clothes, LOTs of red and grey, or SJHS team jerseys and see you in the gym!
