After more than a year, the Saint John High School choir is finally permitted to sing together again! In April rehearsals resumed filling the halls once again with the sound of music. Wearing masks and singing several meters apart has been very challenging, to say the least. Even with only a handful of practices and with small numbers gathering at a time, the choir of 65 students grades 9-12, managed to beautifully prepare four selections- a testimony to their love for choir and each other.

A special thank you to Fr David Martin, Fr Tom Fowler, Marijke Blok and the parishioners of St Rose of Lima Worship site for allowing the choir to film their concert in their lovely church and for their extremely generous donation of $500 to assist our choral program. We appreciate Ms Desmond's camera work and the countless hours grade 12 student, Sebastien Fournet, has spent editing the footage to create this absolutely beautiful video for everyone to enjoy near and far. This link will go live at 9pm this evening, June 11, 2021.
