Ms Gallagher's Creative Arts class recently took a tour of the Imperial Theatre where they learned about the history of the theatre and the architecture. After the tour students were surprised to receive free tickets to a play from the theatre's manager. The class also studied about different types of sculptures and are now working with clay. Thanks to the generosity of staff, retired staff and community, the class has a wonderful supply of yarn and wool for fiber arts. Students learned to make looms out of cardboard for weaving bookmarks, bracelets and other projects. In addition some are learning to knit and crochet. Earlier in the fall the class got creative with photography and submitted photos in a contest. Ms Desmond was invited to choose 3 winners: The top 3 photos were taken by Chloe Cook, Kayleigh Crawford and Nate Harris. Congratulations.
