Anna Dysart, a grade 10 SJHS student, produced a runway show this past weekend. All the designs were created by Anna over the course of 5 months. In total, 10 looks were constructed, with inspiration from the painting Asters and Apples by J.E.H. MacDonald.

Anna has been sewing and creating since she was 6. Some of her other projects include creating dance skirts to sell at ballet schools and costume design for First City School of Dance's recital.

Anna Dysart is a part of the Essential Skills program at school which allows students to explore their talents and interests while learning along the way. She gained outcomes for the program as she worked on the project.

This was Anna's first collection, such a great start to her career. Anna's talent is amazing, and we can't wait to see more! Great work Anna!
