Internal SJHS Scholarships
Criteria: David MacPherson, a beloved basketball coach, instilled dedication, respect, discipline and hard work in his students. This award is funded by the admission fee to the annual David MacPherson Memorial Game between SJHS and STM.

Criteria: In honour of a member of the class of 1930, this award is given to a student who demonstrates leadership in music, student government, and academics.

Criteria: Dennis Knibb was a much-loved Principal of SJHS for 27 years. His contribution to SJHS has been enormous. Upon his retirement in 1992, a scholarship was established in his name. Upon his passing in 2016, the Dennis R. Knibb Scholarship Foundation was formed. The recipient of this scholarship shall demonstrate any or all of the attributes of scholarship, financial need, perseverance, personal improvement or outstanding contribution to SJHS and/or the community

Criteria: Silas was actively involved in both the arts and athletics during his time at SJHS. He was a multi-sport athlete, as well as a beloved stand-up comedian.
